In advance of discussions on Afghanistan at the NATO Summit in Chicago on 20-21 May, Foreign Secretary William Hague will answer questions about the UK's policy towards Afghanistan via Twitter on Thursday 17 May.

Foreign Secretary William Hague has announced that the UK will open two Deputy High Commissions in Hyderabad and Chandigarh, bringing the number of UK posts in India to seven.
